There is a lot to see in this museum but the best place to start is over in the back corner where they have a hologram display that tells the story of how Australia became involved in Vietnam & what happened over the next 10 years.

While there is a guided tour option I prefer to take a look around by myself. There is a range of hardware on display including my first up close with a tank & the first time I have seen a cobra helicopter.

Other displays include the actual wooden balls used in the draft & walls of honour to the fallen. There are also many displays about the different units that served in Vietnam. All are amazing but the story that stood out for me was the Tunnel Rats & the conditions they have to fight in.
Out the back there is a memorial garden & an open hanger with a helicopter & canberra bomber in the early stages of restoration.

On the way out there is a gift shop with a range of items from different units for sale & a cafe for a drink & bite to eat.
